The genuine leather is so soft my daughter doesn't even try to yank these off, which says a lot since she pulls off everything else. The printed Harry Potter icons are adorable without being over the top, and the red sole gives just enough grip for her wobbly first steps.

The printed leather with the little Harry Potter icons is even cuter in person than in the photos. They stayed on my son's feet through a whole afternoon of toddling around the park, which never happens with other shoes. The soft red sole seems comfortable too, no complaints from him.

They actually stay on my 9-month-old's feet, which is more than I can say for the other soft soles we tried. The red leather sole is grippy enough for cruising along the couch but still flexible. Only wish the leather were a touch softer out of the box.
