The leather on these has held up way better than the mesh pair we had before — no scuffs showing even after weeks of playground abuse. My son figured out the back pull tab on day one, so he gets them on himself now.

My kid actually asks to wear these, which never happens with shoes. The back pull tab makes them easy for him to get on himself, and the leather lining keeps his feet from getting sweaty on long school days.

The genuine leather has held up way better than the cheap pairs we used to buy — my son wore these daily for two months and they still look almost new. The back pull tab is a small thing but it means he can actually get them on by himself before school.
