The white leather is genuinely soft, no creasing or rubbing after a few wears. I picked the soft sole version for my 8-month-old and the flexible bottom lets her grip the floor while cruising. They look so sweet with her little dresses too.

Bought the soft sole version for my daughter who's just starting to pull up, and the leather is genuinely soft with no rubbing around her ankles. Only wish is that the white wiped clean a little easier, since scuffs show up fast.
