My toddler actually kept these on for a whole beach day, and the Italian buckles never once pinched her skin. The olive leather has held up nicely to sand and water, too.

The olive leather straps are even nicer in person, and the prong-free buckles make getting these on my squirmy toddler a total breeze. They've already survived a week of playground and beach wear without a single complaint.
